Installing Nvidia Drive

Hello...
I've being using ubuntu for about 4 days...& I like it very much..
i wanted to install the nvidia drive..
some i did this.. :
System>>Administration>>Hardware drivers..
then it told me that the driver is found ... & i clicked to install..but nothing happens..
the install bar stays zero... it downloads nothing..
I searched on google for the driver..& i found a package for it.. but i didn't know what i do to it..
please..is there any solution for this problem..like changing the download server...or any alternate solution..
& thanks for any one who spent time reading my problem... :)

sudo lshw -C display

you need to install envyng-core and envyng-qt

Envy is not to be encouraged, there is jockey-gtk which is made by canonical to install drivers. Once we know the video card we can advise better.
