Ability to scan in 150dpi and 600dpi resolution

Asked by Mi Lee

The list of scan resolutions is too limited.

Scanning at a resolution of 150 and 600 dpi is fairly common in other applications.

Unfortunately, Xsane doesn't support these resolutions.

A full spectrum of available resolutions, from high to low, would be much appreciated.

What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; lsusb

What make and model scanner?
How does it connect to the system?

We need information about the system as well as the problem itself...

Doesn't seem to be connected, just your Logitech mouse. Was the device connected and powered on at the time?

Epson's scan utility, called Epson Scan, does provide support for 150 and 600 dpi, amongst others.
But is for Windows only, unfortunately.

I did, a while ago, but it lacks all the features Epson Scan (for Windows) and XSane (Ubuntu) have.

This utility is just a simple scan app.
