relocation error in a library: who should I warn?

Asked by Uqbar

I've installed a Samsung MFP' unified driver accordingly to this web site:
http://www-personal.umich.edu/~tjwatt/suldr/
The printer is now working fine.
When I try to launch /opt/Samsung/mfp/bin/Configurator to check the scanner part, then I get
the following error (on command line):

--------
netdiscovery: relocation error: /lib/libnss_files.so.2: symbol __rawmemchr, version GLIBC_2.2.5 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
netdiscovery: relocation error: /lib/libnss_files.so.2: symbol __rawmemchr, version GLIBC_2.2.5 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
netdiscovery: relocation error: /lib/libnss_files.so.2: symbol __rawmemchr, version GLIBC_2.2.5 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
--------

Is this something related to Ubuntu or to the Unified driver maintainer?
