screen upside down on start up, buttons visible upside down but work as if the screen is straight

Asked by Inderjit Singh Chahal

UBUNTU 18.04 LTS

Processor : Intel® Core™ i5-3427U CPU @ 1.80GHz × 4

Graphics : Intel® Ivybridge Mobile

GNOME : 3.28.1

OS type 64 bit

Model: HP elitebook folio 9470 m

I have turned off the rotation of screen but due to some reasons, sometimes when I boot up my ubuntu the screen shows itself to be upside down but the buttons function from the places where they would have been had the screen been normal.

To fix this I have to turn on the rotation somehow with great difficulty and power off and on boot the screen is normal and functions as is.

Can someone Please suggest a fix to this ?
