MY GEFORCE 8400 GS NOT WORKING PLZZ

I INSTALLED UBUNTU AND THE GEFORCE 8400 GS IS NOT SUPPORTED HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS I NEED AN UPDATE.....

update your ubuntu software from a terminal with the commands:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

you may need to reboot. after that go to System → Administration → Hardware Drivers and enable any restricted drivers you have available. it should list the 177 nvidia driver for your adaptor.
