Please read this first:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

Those end-of-life dates lead me to suggest 2 alternatives:

1) First backup all your personal data to external storage

2) Then try an online upgrade (via the command line) to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS which is supported until April 2019.

3) Or perform a clean install of Ubuntu 14.04 LTS from scratch, AFTER performing a full backup of all your data.

Ubuntu 15.04 is only supported until January 2016, which is why I recommend Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

Performing a clean install usually gives better results.
