Please don't post in all caps. It's harder to read and looks like you are shouting. SO DON'T.

You may find WINE makes the software run but it is hit and miss. Some applications will refuse to even install, some will run better than they do under Windows. There is the WINE AppDb where people have documented success and failure with various games and applications.

You can use that link to search for what you want to install to see if it is possible. There are also Cedega and CrossoverOffice which do a similar job.

 If you are wanting to use a tonne of Windows applications then Windows may be the OS for you. If you can switch to open source alternatives then you will have an easier time.
