How to reduce icon size so all fit on 13"w x 10"h monitor ?

Went to system, preferences, then display to change font size. Maybe is was 1024 x 1080 ?

Went to Resolution = 840 x 525 (16:10) which made the home page icons too large.

But, also resulted in loss of resolution numbers > 840 x 525

How to reduce icon size to fit monitor & Get resolution back to origional.

We have Ubuntu 9.04...TNX

Jaunty is not supported in any way, shape or form. I suggest you reinstall with a clean install of Precise.
