black screen

hi, i just installed ubuntu 12.04.LTS and the screen starts in purple and before it askme for password it gets black... i found this sudo service lightdm restart ... and it works but i have to use it each thime i turn on the netbook.. how can i solve it?
thanks.. but the other things are ok.. im event asking from the netbook and ubunto.

So it's a low end Intel GPU, try the boot option:

nomodeset
