Xorg says no compatible NVidia driver for Intel G33?

Asked by Larry Jordan

Hi.

Just noticing I have OpenGL disabled due to an Xorg error.

It was fine not long ago, but so many things going wrong lately.

The specific line in the log file says:
[ 28.005] (EE) Failed to initialize GLX extension (Compatible NVIDIA X driver not found)

I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 with latest updates for it.... had opengl enabled before, what happened and how do I fix it?

Okay, solved it myself. Not sure why it ever happened, but found a solution on line. Simply removed NVidia drivers, which I (obviously) don't need anyway.
