Will Switchable Graphics Cards be incorporated into Ubuntu?

I have a HP TM2T and i was wondering if there are any plans to incorporate switchable graphics into ubuntu. Im being forced to use windows (shivers) because of lack of compatibility . And more compatibility questions. Will touch and digitizer pen support be added to Ubuntu(unless it already is)
