cannot start X after enabling Xinerama

I just installed 11.04 and tried to enable Xinerama and cannot get past the log in screen. I'm running Ubuntu on an HP AMD 64 processor. Is there a fix?

Evidently no one here really cares, but the latest AMD driver allows me to use Xinerama. So this has been fixed. There's a drawback though. Instead of instantly displaying the screen upon moving the mouse or pressing a button when the screen saver is engaged, it now takes about a minute. Is this progress?
