touchpad use causes logout 11.04 beta 1

Fresh install of Ubuntu 11.04 beta 1 i386 on compaq CQ60. Touch pad worked fine until I ran update manager and downloaded and installed the available updates. Now, any use whatsoever of the touch pad sends me to the login screen. USB mouse works fine.

Log a bug. Natty is NOT ready and NOT stable so you will get bugs galore
