on update to latest ubuntu my monitor seems too smallyet it is a22"screen

i have updated my system to latest ubuntu Now my screen seems too small to fit all text in.how can I reducethe size of picture.

Can you check in "Monitors" (in System>Preferences) if the resolution is big enough ? You should have something like 1680x1050 or 1920x1080. If it's much smaller and you can't choose anything bigger, that could be a driver problem or screen configuration problem.
