Desktop problems in ubuntu 10.04

Hi. I upgrade to ubuntu 10.04 and I have noticed some desktop aesthetics problems:
   - Some system tray icons appear with white background, such as Banshee icon tray.
   - The "me menu" status icon appear with white color. I think it should turn green when online, red when away, etc... But, it's always white...
   How do I fix it?

Try creating a bug report if this doesn't go away - you can attach files in that menu. Try updating with:

sudo aptiitude update && sudo aptiitude safe-upgrade

first though.
