Graphics Card Utility

Asked by Aikijoe

I have a two EVGA 9800gtx+ graphics cards in SLI. EVGA has a utility called Precision for windows to overclock, adjust fan speeds, and monitoring status's. I was wondering if there is any universal utilities like this ofered for Linux? Don't care to much about the overclocking, mostly just the fan adjustments and onscreen display. Also I have the Nvidia Driver installed but I am not even sure if SLI is enabled.

$ sudo apt-get nvclock-gtk

Try run nvclock with sudo OR hack xorg.conf manually with Coolbits -> 1

Section "Device"
        Identifier "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200"
        Driver "nvidia"
        BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
        Option "Coolbits" "1"
        Option "NoLogo"
EndSection
