Hi Vedant. Change the line in /etc/default/grub e.g.

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet"

to

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet scsi_mod.scan=sync"

and then re-run update-grub.
