Trusty has 1.5.0 in it's repos.

Package changes in LTS releases is rare due to them wanting to be rock solid. If there are significant reasons to upgrade a package (bug and security fixes) then it will be updated, otherwise the package will remain.

If you report a bug stating that the package should be updated and why, it may be updated sooner but a new version being released is not a reason to update a package in Ubuntu, especially in the LTS release.

I'm sorry for the confusion. I'm just asking that the version be updated in the next release since it still says 1.5.0.

Can you help with this problem?
