xfce4-terminal pretends to create zombie

Hi there,

running a system with Xubuntu 11.10 there's a constant problem whenever opening an xfce4-terminal: A zombie job is created which I cannot get rid of other than killing it's parent (which is the xfce4-terminal actually in use):

$ ps -ely | grep xfce4-terminal
S 1000 4234 1 0 80 0 14692 56332 poll_s ? 00:00:00 xfce4-terminal
Z 1000 4237 4234 0 80 0 0 0 exit ? 00:00:00 xfce4-terminal <defunct>

Can someone please help me?
