something is wrong with the program ev_calibrate

Asked by Антон Бородин

On my laptop (Asus Eee PC 701 4G) installed touchscreen eGalax. It runs Jaunty NBR ant worked nice before last (yesterday) update. Now has the problem:
When starts ev_calibrate it shows:
in upper-left corner min_max.cur_y ~1150
in upper-right corner min_max.cur_y ~1200
in down-right corner min_max.cur_y ~1990
in down-left corner min_max.cur_y ~1990
in upper-center crosshair y ~1700 right like in left- and right-center crosshair ant therefore /etc/evtouch/config, generated after calibrate does not allow navigate accurately.
I don't know, is this a hardware, or software bug, but I think it possible to calculate X,Y(0-8) factors "by hand".
Where can I find explanatory information concerning the appointment of these factors? Unfortunately, the source driver, I get this information will not be able to - programming is not my strong side.

Ok, I was wrong. Problem is in damaged or defective touch panel.
