problem with wlan with Acer Aspire 4720Z

1. I have installed ubuntu hardy8.04 LTS
2. It is not connecting to WLAN
3.lspci gives the specification as below
     BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN (rev01)
    32 bit
4.Can some one guide me in what should i do systematically to make it working?

Hi,

I recommend installing Ubuntu 8.10 from the Ubuntu 8.10 LiveCD session.

After installing Ubuntu 8.10, please try the following procedure:
