Hi..
Its known that Autocad 2000 does work under Ubuntu, but newer versions may not work. But, you should know that the Autocad is being run using WINE, which is a software to create a Windows runtime environment within Linux. Also you may go for some alternative CAD softwares available for Ubuntu, but my guess is that it will not be anywhere near AutoCAD is its functionality.
