Wine Cannot open all EXEs. Check for compatible EXEs in the official site of wine. www.wine.com

Are you sure you are running the exe with Wine and not Archive Manager?
As for mono, it is the free/open source implementation of Microsofts .NET programming language.
It might be easier for us to help if you tell us the name of the exe/program you are trying to run.

If I'm not mistaken, you've also asked the question: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wine/+question/96457
Did the instructions not work for you?

I think if it is JDownloader, there is a linux version. Perhaps it is easier if you download the linux version instead of running windows version in linux.

Waluyo, no VDownloader and JDownloader is not the same program, but you are right that there is a Linux version of JDownloader. VDownloader is a program for downloading and converting videos from various internet sites.

Can you help with this problem?
