intalling Adobe Suit CS3 OR CS2 and CorelDRAW in Ubuntu

i am a graphic designer. therefore i used the adobe suit applications for window and coreldraw. i want to run them in ubuntu. i have no knowledge in ubuntu. all that i have been able to do is to have successfully installed ubuntu. i now want to have my windows based programmes running on it

Install wine from the software center.

You never mentioned what versions of the apps you use:

I'm guessing with "Adobe Suit" you meant photoshop:

Doesnt look too rosy. There is Gimp which is a native app and runs pretty well. If you REALLY need to run the apps you could run a virtual system and install Windows there (You WILL need a license and install media for this) which will run Windows inside Linux (quite a bloat but will work) or you could dual boot.

If the main purpose of the system is to use the Windows apps you described then Windows may simply be the better option for you.

Thanks Appiah. but can i do this if am not online. I am asking this because, i am thinking of downloading the WINE and the install it later at home, where i dont have internet connection.
