Wine is an abstraction layer for directx so you don't install it.

Looks like it does work. The multiplayer does not work though so it only gets a Gold rating:

Make sure you get the latest patch for the game

You can also try playonlinux which is like wine but it makes your job easy [1]

I have playonlinux already installed. Should or shouldn't i install directx? (It is installed through playonlinux approach i think). How can i check if i have directx installed or not? Anyway my problem is this. When i try to open the fm2010.exe the cursor shows that something is loading but then nothing. When i double click for second time a message is displayed saying the game is already running

No you do not install directX, games use directX as a lazy way for coders to make games. Linux doesnt have this so wine translates the calls to native linux calls.

Read the appdb link for the game and read the guides
