Only certain Windows games and programs work (more or less) correctly in Linux using wine.

SOME applications will work BUT NOT ALL.

Experience suggests to me that there is a kind of hierarchy from WINE, Wine-Doors, PlayOnLinux to commercial versions e.g. Cedega, Win4Lin etc.
