A bit more info would be nice.

Can you please provide the output of:

dpkl -l | grep wine; cat /etc/apt/sources.list

Thanks

Hi :)

The last stable Wine was 1.1.0 i think which is ancient history now. All more recent ones are considered development releases only for alpha or beta testing so upgrading Wine is usually more a case of uninstalling and then reinstalling the latest one from their website, i think

http://www.winehq.org/

I cold easily be completely wrong about all this as i have managed to avoid using any Windows apps except an occasional defrag and stuff.

Good luck and regards from
Tom :)
