Yes. It can install and run with wine (Microsoft Windows Compatibility Layer).

Finally, I can only recommand you to take an afternoon to discover Inkscape. I understand that you want to stick with Photoshop, since it's hard to start learning again from scratch with Gimp, but you should really try Inkscape's tutorials. This piece of software is awesome.

Get off the treadmill. Use Gimp. The interface is different, but better in
the end. The modular nature of Gimp plug-ins makes the learning curve
shorter and the functionality more robust.
