Cannot run SoundForge 7 in Ubuntu 9.04 under Wine.

We need more information in order to help you. Please run the following command in a terminal :

wine "C:\Program Files\Sony\Sound Forge 7.0\nameoftheapp.exe" >> winelog.txt

And attach the winelog.txt file to your answer. Also, please specify which version of wine you use (wine --version).

To answer the second question first, I'm running Wine 1.0.1.

Coming to the second question, I receive the very prolix message quoted
below, the implications of which I find surprising insofar as, as I
noted, I had no difficulty running exactly the same program under Wine
in Ubuntu 7.10.
