downloaded left 4 dead using utorrent

i saw a video an youtube to download left 4 dead and i tried it and it worked.but when i run the program in wine the sound works and the buttons but there is no picture.the screen turns dark and you can hear the intro movie then everything turns big the mouse..icons..ect whats the problem ..and how do i fix it??

Have you installed video drivers to get 3D acceleration? Did you read the winehq appdb to see if the game requires any extra tweaking to run in wine?

Wine is a best effort so not all apps run. Some won't even install. So don't expect miracles In some cases it can actually get a few extra FPS than a windows system (Doom3 etc). Is there a native Linux installer for the ame using the files you have?
