new to ubuntu and problems with Macromedia softwares

I have installed Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash, when I open the software up its fine, when I try to open a file with it I get a dialogue box with file icons in there but all the file names and the text on dialogue box buttons have disapeared.

reinstall wine with the last version and reinstall the software...

There's free software alternatives to both software apps by the way (Flash for Linux and Quanta Plus)

What graphics card do you have? What version of Ubuntu? What version of Wine? What version of Dreamweaver?
