how to instail a windows onto ubunto

im a ubunto virgin not very good with computer ,and i need i little help,trying to install diablo2 .but its cuming up can not find auto runing soft ware.how do i go about to sorting this? pleasee thanks

you will need to install wine first:
sudo aptitude install wine
then you can try to install diablo2 but its not guaranteed to work, check out the application database at www.winehq.org to see if its one of the tested applications first. Also you might want to check http://www.winehq.org/download/deb for the latest wine updates.

again, try using WINE. There are no guarantees but worth a go

Hello,

Diablo 2 seems to run perfectly under Linux.

See here for detailled install instructions and infos about each version of Diablo II (they're all rated to "Platinum" though, this is meant to mean you just need to double click the setup.exe inside your CD-rom (after Wine is installed of course :))) : http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=74
