need help with wine

Asked by girishkale

hey there,

wine is a great soft, but I think I have some problem configuring it. When I try to run my QBasic compiler for windows on linux using wine then it won't run. I think it is happening because QB.exe itself needs support from few other exe's (QB.exe is the file that I need to run to start the compiler) which I can see in the same folder. eg. BC.exe, LIB.exe, etc.

Do I need to run all of these exe's simultaniously? If yes, how to do it? Is there any specific configuration in wine that will enable me to do such simultanious thing? Please help.

I'm not sure if its possible to run QBasic compiler through Wine. There are some other QBasic-like compilers available that Wine supports.

Look here:-

thanks for suggesting me those QB compilers, but my question was general. I was giving QB just as an example. I want to know how to configure wine to run multiple exes.

You haven't run into a problem yet, as far as I can see.

Wine is perfectly capable of running several executables "at once".

Can you help with this problem?
