According to http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=1794

wine version 0.9.53 cannot handle Photoshop Premiere Elements v4. But you should test Photoshop Premiere Elements, Version 4 using wine version 1.1.7

The website says that Adobe(R) Photoshop Elements 5.0 definitely works in Linux using wine.
