ms office 2007

i am using ubuntu 12.04 and installed wine a few days back. installed ms office 2007 a while ago. working fine but facing a couple of problems.
powerpoint not opening.
and once it showed, the application needs msxml 5.0 for proper installation.
can u please help?

What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | grep -i wine

i have posted in the wine forum with no reply so far. googled it but no concrete solutions found. msxml 5.0 needs to be downloaded but how? and powerpoint is still not running. my wine version is 1.4.0

install wine tricks and run the command ./winetricks and from the window that pops up install msxml from there
