Upgraded Ubuntu 11 now some programs don't work

Hello,
I recently Upgraded to the latest Version of Ubuntu 11 and now some of my programs don;t work correctly.

I used Wine to download a game Battlefield 1942 and it worked just fine.

When I upgraded to this new version of Ubuntu, the game loads to the start menu and starts but when it goes to play nothing happens, and it crashes computer.

Any and all help would be very welcome.

Should I install and reinstall using Wine?

I suggest you post on the wine forum too, its closer to your actual issue. Launch the app from command line, the output may help.
