how do i get an EXE file to run with what program in ubuntu?

i try to open an executable file so i can get my printer to work with my computer but when i open it with autorun prompt i get an error... i dont know how to make this file run please someone help me... thank you.

exe files are for ms windows only. some programs work with wine but if your trying to install any driver you have to use linux drivers. try going to the printer manufacture website and look for linux support or go to http://ubuntuforums.org and search there.
