Microsoft Office 10 is a Microsoft Windows OS program.

Linux is not Windows. Windows is not Linux.

The 32bit version may work under Wine. The 64bit version will probably not. See http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?appId=31

There is a how to on the page, personally I wouldn't bother. If you MUST use MS office then using a vuirtual OS is the only real way to get a stable use of it, but then you are running BOTH OSes at the same time (WIndows and Ubuntu). If the main use of the system is to run MS Office then you may be better just using Windows, or dual boot.
