[/home/shananigans/Desktop/DriverDetective.exe]
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
zipinfo: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /home/shananigans/Desktop/DriverDetective.exe or
/home/shananigans/Desktop/DriverDetective.exe.zip, and cannot find /home/shananigans/Desktop/DriverDetective.exe.ZIP, period.

The file you are trying to open with the archive manager is not an archive. Instead, it is a Windows executable (i.e., a Windows program file). Some Windows executables can be run on Ubuntu with Wine, but many cannot. Sometimes information about whether or not a program works with Wine is available at http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&sTitle=Browse%20Applications&sOrderBy=appName&bAscending=true. Wine can be installed in the Software Center, and then you can attempt to run a .exe with Wine by right-clicking on it and clicking Wine Windows Program Loader (or Open With > Wine, depending on your desktop environment).

Windows drivers, and most utilities that pertain to the use of Windows drivers, cannot be run with Wine.

If you tell us specifically what you are trying to accomplish, it may be possible to give more particularized advice.

Can you help with this problem?
