non ubuntu game wont install

tried to install disc and this is the message I get

This is an .exe file (i.e. a windows file). To play it I assume you will need to install wine application.
Have you installed wine?

I HAVE WINE ON MY COMPUTER IT HAS PROGRAMS, BROWSE C DRIVE, CONFIGURE WINE, AND UNINSTALL, IN PROGRAMS IT HAS ACCESSORIES, AND THAT HAS NOTEPAD. I TRIED TO INSTALL IT WITH WINDOWS BUT IT ISN'T WORKING I AM REALLY STUPID WHEN IT COMES TO STUFF LIKE THIS

Hi Rose,

I would have a look at http://appdb.winehq.org/ and see if the game you are trying to use is listed there. If so then check if it is supported or/and follow any instructions that are provided.
