wine 1.3.22

I downloaded and extracted wine 1.3.22 now what? How i suppose to install it?
I dont see it in the synaptic manager to mark it to installation...;\ What i doing wrong?

Hello,

Wine and Win Tricks is in the Synaptic Package Manager in Version 10.10.

Hi, you can install the win directly via Synaptic (as Allan siad), or via consoll with this command: sudo apt-get install wine, or directly download the .deb pkg to this link: http://www.winehq.org/download/ubuntu.

Ok but the thing is i really need the latest version witch is 1.3.22

To do it with that link you give me i need to add the WineHQ PPA Repository. Than i could use they download link i guess but i dont know how to add the winehq ppa repository.

I running 11.04 ubuntu and i cant do this:
"open the Software Sources menu by going to Applications->Ubuntu Software Center, then selecting Edit->Software Sources. Choose the Other Software tab and click Add."

cause i dont have edit-> software sources in the ubuntu software center

You are using Unity Desktop. The instructions you have posted are about Gnome desktop. You must use the Unity search bar to fine Wine icon and then starts it. Thanks many.
