Running windows apps in ubuntu 11.04

Yes but it depends on the app. Some run well but some won't even install

If Wine's AppDB doesn't say whether or not it works, when you'll just have to try it and see. If it doesn't work, that might just be because Wine is incapable of running it...but if it doesn't, I recommend you post another reply, as sometimes some Windows programs don't work with Wine initially but can be made to work without too much trouble.

Thanks for the help. I will just try it and see. Right now I am installing Ubuntu as a dual-boot with Windows xp. That way I don't burn my bridges.
