I cannot open a .exe file under Wine? Please help!

Hi, I am trying to install a game I have downloaded to this computer, and each time I tell it to run under Wine, I get this error message:
"The file '/home/jeb/Downloads/RCT3_Platinum_Setup.exe' is not marked as executable. If this was downloaded or copied from an untrusted source, it may be dangerous to run. For more details, read about the executable bit."

Please, help me out with this problem! Is there a way to fix it? Thank you! :)

Hi,

You can make the file executable by doing the following:

1. Right-click on the .exe file and select "Properties"
2. Select the "Permissions" tab
3. Tick the "Allow executing file as program" checkbox
4. Close the Properties window and try running the file again
