How to install a program with a cd

I don't know what Ubuntu is and I didn't want it. Since i am stuck with it though, how do I upload Quicken Home and Business from a CD and how do I download iTunes from the internet?

They both MAY run in Wine. I suggest you try the appdb. You can always use a virtualbox install using a legal copy of Windows with valid license key and install your apps there

If you don't want the OS, change it.

it apeears that quicken runs quite well via wine. have a look at the link to see how to install quicken.

what are you trying to do with itunes? just move music to your ipod? or are you buying music from the itunes store? if you're just moving music, you can use rhythmbox, amarok, or banshee.

yes. You can run:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get -y install wine1.3

Then you can install your app
