I Cannot Install PC Games even with wine

I Cannot Install PC Games even with wine and when i change it to an executable file it still wont happen it says file not found or data corrupt I am a New Ubuntu user as of Friday last week and apart from this its awesome can anybody help?

Try using playonlinux, it's a nice frontend to wine. May help

Remember to check the Wine appdb for compatibility, not all games work (Some won't even install)

It was bejeweled 2 and bejeweled twist they are both in the list on the Wine Appdb

I tried playonlinux last nite and reinstalled wine however when installing wine from there main website it wouldnt let me download the latest version it said File not found so i had to run updates in ubuntu software centre which installed the version before this one. When opening the game using either playonlinux or Wine it put my screen into safe mode and shut the monitor off i had reboot the whole PC it did this several times and still no game
