Can't get wine to work

Every time I try to install the old school fallout games using the fallout trilogy cd using wine it gives me this error message: "The file '/media/Fallouts/Setup.exe' is not marked as executable. If this was downloaded or copied from an untrusted source, it may be dangerous to run. For more details, read about the executable bit." But was a exe file so I clicked on the link and that lead no where so I tryed to run the auto run and got this error message: "Cannot find the autorun program" Please help I'm total Linux noob so please talk to me like a 5 year old

Never mind i figured it out! Just incase anyone wants to know how, I copied all the content of the cd on to the desktop then went into properties of the install exe and changed the permissions to exe
