Read USA Today

Asked by forest green

I subscribe to USA Today and read it on-line with my Windows system but cannot read it using Ubuntu. What do I need to do to read it with the Ubuntu system?
When I try using the Ubuntu system it just keeps loading and nothing comes up. USA is using Olive software to display their paper.
Thanks,

Forest

Do other readers act the same?

I presume Olive is a Windows software which is able to decrypt DRM protected papers.
In this case, you have two solutions:
  - make a virtual machine on Ubuntu, install Windows and after Olive
  - install Wine packet, which implements Windows libraries, and then install Olive
The first solution will surely work, but need Windows installed and some hardware resources. The second one could work. As I presume Olive doesn't use very specific Windows function, I'm optimistic.

No, oliveis in the repos:

andy@D420:~$ apt-cache policy olive
olive:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 1.3-4
  Version table:
     1.3-4 0
        500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/universe i386 Packages
andy@D420:~$ apt-cache search olive
olive - console RSS reader

I editted the 2nd output but you get the idea.

Can you help with this problem?
