cant open exe files from my f drive which are M/S etc ubuntu is my operating system deleted ms

i cannot open any Exe files to see these programmes.
i have ubuntu 10.10 as my operating systems and i try to get into my f drive for these software programmes which do not open.

would i have to have M/S still on my system with ubuntu seperate?

You can try to emulate MS exe files with wine.

Or you can use commercial software;

But these softwares not guarantee to run all of the exe files. So if you need to run much exe files, you can use dual boot (Install Windows alongside Ubuntu) or install Windows in Virtualbox.

also, you can't run programs that are already installed in windoze. you have to reinstall them if you want to run them under wine or vitualbox.

if you MUST use those programs, the best way to go is to do a dual boot.
