Exe files / wine

Asked by tim gudgion

I have installed wine.

When I try to open exe files (for example itunessetup.exe) I get the following message

"The file '/home/tim/Downloads/iTunesSetup.exe' is not marked as executable. If this was downloaded or copied from an untrusted source, it may be dangerous to run. For more details, read about the executable bit."

If I try to open from within the archive manager I get

 "rchive: /home/tim/Downloads/iTunesSetup.exe
[/home/tim/Downloads/SongSurgeonExe.exe]
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
zipinfo: cannot find zipfile directory in one of /home/tim/Downloads/SongSurgeonExe.exe or
/home/tim/Downloads/SongSurgeonExe.exe.zip, and cannot find /home/tim/Downloads/SongSurgeonExe.exe.ZIP, period."

Not sure what to try next.
