Microsoft Office 2007 will not launch (Ubuntu 10.10 and Wine 1.2.1)

I have just recently installed Office 2007 onto my ASUS F5GL and the install was perfect, I used Wine 1.2.1 and installed form a disk but when i go to launch Word nothing happens, the cursor give me the loading thing but nothing happens.

Please help!

Try with wine 1.3

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get -y remove wine; sudo apt-get -y autoremove; sudo apt-get install wine1.3

Why not use openoffice...

Wine 1.2.1 should be fine for Word 2007.
Can you provide a log as detailed at http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log ?
